How to Convert Social Media Likes and Comments into Sales

DISCLAIMER: When it comes to online prospecting, some Network Marketing trainers teach to go straight for the jugular, while others teach to build rapport. Our recommendation is to test out which strategy works best for you.

In our experience, people who are brand new to online marketing and don’t have a brand yet, should keep things simple and cut straight to the chase (especially if they’re reaching out to a complete stranger). However, if you’re already building your brand and you’re getting many Friend Requests and comments on your posts and videos, you should connect with those people a little bit more and ask them 2-3 things before you pop the question.

IMP: Make sure you let people know that you have an opportunity to share with them as fast as possible. But keep in mind — this is your business, so test out what works best for you. In the article below, we’re looking at the best practices that have worked for us and thousands of our students and teammates.

CLOSE the LOOP is an abbreviation that stands for a formula we established over the years. It combines the best methods we teach our team and the ones we use every day. Why? Because they’re very easy to remember and duplicate!

Now, let’s get started!

CLOSE the LOOP stands for:

C — Compliment & Connect
L — Lead with the Product or the Business
O — Obey Your Intuition
— Share Your Story & Your Why
E – Expose, Engage, Elevate

~ the ~

L — List of Exposures
O — Organize
O — Omnipresent
P — Persistent

CLOSE

What are the ABCs of sales? “Always Be Closing”! And when do you have the biggest chances to close a prospect? When you connect to that person on a deeper level!

Here’s how to do it:

#1: Check Out Your Prospects’ Profile

What have they been up to lately? Pay them a compliment about a recent achievement they’ve had. It’s a great way to start a conversation and to keep the attention of your prospect.

#2: Lead With The Product Or Opportunity

Have they had their own business? Or perhaps they’ve mentioned that they have a struggle that your product can help them with? Choose which one to lead with either based on what they’ve told you or what you’re most excited about.

IMP: More people eat at restaurants than own restaurants. The same is true for any business. In other words, more people will be interested in the product rather than the business at first. That’s why we prefer to lead with the product in most situations. However, this is your business and you need to obey your intuition!

#3: Always Share Your WHY

Facts tell, stories sell. As people, we connect to other people through stories. So don’t be afraid to share why you decided to start your own business and why you chose your company. That story will have a powerful effect on your prospects!

#4: Use A System

If you use a system you’re Saving YourSelf Time, Energy and Money! We love the ATMF business method because it’s highly effective and it’s easy to duplicate. LOOP

Once you’ve started building rapport with your prospects, it’s time to get technical!

#1: Keep Track Of All Of Your Prospects

Good organization is the key to any long-term success! So use a physical journal or an online document, whatever you feel most comfortable with, and write down the name of every single person you get in contact with. Then set reminders using sticky notes, Google Calendar or even Facebook Messenger to follow up with them! After all, 50% of sales happen after the 5th follow up!

#2: Focus On One Social Media Platform

We know that being constantly present on Social Media can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re just starting.

That’s why we recommend that you focus on one Social Media platform and develop your presence there. Once you start getting 20-30 leads per month on it, then you can think about diversifying your channels.

PRO Tip: Use the 50:50 Engagement Formula. In other words, if you’re going to do a 15 min Live broadcast, budget in the same amount of time to respond to people’s comments. That way, you’ll know exactly how much time you’ll spend on the platform, you’ll be connecting with people, and the algorithm is going to love you!

#3: Be Consistent

What is the main reason why some people succeed and others don’t? Consistency! Sure, we’re successful now, but it took us 7 years to crack a 6-figure income and another 8 to crack 7 figures! And the only reason why that happened was because we kept showing up, even when we didn’t feel like it! So repeat this formula and eventually, you’ll start seeing the results!

This was our CLOSE the LOOP Formula! Did you love it or did you love it? Which strategies are you already implementing? Let us know in the comments below! And if you found value in this training, share it with your teammates! They’ll love you extra! ATMF Formula
